Anjana Data to sponsor the first international edition of the Data Management Summit

Over 600 professionals have registered for the events at Data Management Summit 2021, which this year features three editions: international (16th and 17th March), Spanish (October) and Italian (November).

DMS is an exclusive event and benchmark for the data management community in the technology landscape, focusing more on solutions than platforms. Its aim is to be an open forum for debate, sharing experiences and use cases. It is an essential summit for CIOs, CTOs, CDOs and data scientists who implement emerging technologies to solve new technological challenges and align themselves with new business opportunities.

New technological challenges, from self-service to machine learning and artificial intelligence, will dominate the future of data. The conferences will immerse attendees in the latest advances in data and analytics, focusing on emerging technologies that will offer the greatest opportunities for impact within their organisations.

For the first time, an international edition will be presented entirely in English, with several prominent speakers: Robert S. Seiner, author of the book «Non-Invasive Data Governance: The Path of Least Resistance»He will be responsible for coordinating the round table entitled ‘Data Governance: The Core of Data Management’. This will be just one of the four round tables full of professionals who will fuel the debate among attendees, which will be generated within the group dynamics that are the distinctive elements of the event.

From Anjana Data We are delighted to be able to collaborate with an event that is a benchmark among data management experts due to the quality of its presentations and round table participants, and which promotes the sharing of knowledge and experiences around data in a transparent and collaborative manner.

During our participation in the event, we will delve into the innovative and disruptive concept of “Governed data self-service through the construction of a Data Marketplace,” which is based on the following concepts:

  • Collaborative environment based on clearly defined roles (producers, supervisors or brokers, and consumers).
  • Metadata-centric vision for the technological abstraction of data governance from other areas of data management (integration, storage, exploitation, quality, etc.).
  • Proactive and preventive governance to achieve the operationalisation of a DataOps culture integrated with demand management.
  • Extended integration of data ecosystem technologies into complex hybrid, multi-environment, multi-cloud, multi-cluster, and multi-platform architectures.
  • Establishment of Data Contracts between producers and consumers thanks to the definition of Data Sharing Agreements.

According to Michele Iurillo of Synergo, «Data governance is at the heart of data management. Anjana Data is an interesting and very robust solution that is growing in the market. It is no longer a mystery, and it is an absolute pleasure to have this sponsor and Mario de Francisco Ruiz (CEO of Anjana Data) among the professionals who are playing an active role in the summit.».
