A success story that highlights the integration of Anjana Data (Data Governance & Analytics Platform) with Omma Data (Data Quality Tool) together with the Data Governance and Technology and Infrastructure departments of Vocento, and with Matica Partners as integrator.
The identified needs relate to administrative functions, in terms of information management; operational functions, in terms of the daily operation of this information; and executive functions, in terms of the visualisation and presentation of this information. From this point, objectives were set, such as implementing the necessary governance policies and norms of quality; identifying the sources of data used in the transformation processes and defining the movement of this data to the DataHub (data centralisation) for processing and consumption; ensuring democratisation and federation of data in Vocento; and defining roles and responsibilities, providing them with the necessary tools and functionalities to carry out the actions that will enable them to fulfil these responsibilities, among others.
Vocento now has a centralised Data Governance & Analytics platform where it can consult and manage the organisational units, the entities available, the lineage and traceability, the workflows, the marketplace and the implementation and integration of data quality. In addition, challenges have been overcome such as the integration of Anjana Data with Vocento’s technological scenario, the establishment of basic rules and a common language for all users and the implementation of a data culture within the organisation.
