Architecture and Integrations
Microservices-based Data Governance & AI platform, agnostic, interoperable and horizontally scalable on-premises, in the cloud and in multi-cloud environments. No vendor lock-in or black boxes: repositories accessible via REST APIs and direct access for observability, automation and extensibility.
Native Big Data and Cloud architecture
without vendor lock-in no black boxes
Designed to coexist and orchestrate complex ecosystems, Anjana Data integrates natively and extensively with leading technologies from cloud, data, and Dev/DataOps, including (among others) those you see in the customer's image:
This technological positioning is embodied in bidirectional integrations for metadata discovery, lineage, metadata/tag injection, active permission governance, controlled sampling and auditing, while maintaining a focus on open and extendable (without proprietary dependencies or opaque components).

Functional architecture
One cross-cutting layer of government —independent of technical architecture—articulates the capabilities of catalogue, glossary, lineage, policies, workflows, and marketplace under a operating model by domains and roles. All functionality is accessible from web portals and APIs, with open internal repositories, a recommendation engine, and plugins to automate technical processes on data platforms.
Configuration of the governance model and extensible metamodel.
Business Glossary and Data Catalogue & AI metadata-centric.
Active governance (permissions, policies, dynamic auditing) and information marketplace (DSAs and Data Contracts).
Centralised metadata management and hybrid/extended lineage.
Technical architecture
Independent microservices and decoupled, with standardised communications and specialised storage per service. The design facilitates horizontal scalability, deployments VM o Kubernetes and operation in on-premises, IaaS/PaaS, or SaaS. The platform displays three layers of RESTful APIs (public, administrative, and configuration) documented (Swagger) and a SDK for extensions and proprietary agents.
Types of native integration
(end-to-end)
The platform integrates Corporate or cloud IAM (LDAP, Azure AD, AWS IAM, Google IAM, etc.), native catalogues of the hyperscalers, quality engines (e.g., Aqtiva.ai o open source), and reporting/observability tools, consolidating a Metadata Lake single for active and passive government.
Interoperability and plug-ins
Maintained by Anjana Data for integrations with third-party technologies (at no additional licence cost), aligned with our product philosophy and the specifications of each vendor.
To build new connectors/agents and expand coverage of use cases.
We prioritise functional depth and bidirectionality over massive lists of connectors with limited coverage.
Deployment and operation
Available at IaaS/PaaS or SaaS model, with licences pay-per-use based on governed assets and unlimited use of plugins and native integrations. We include non-productive environments No additional licence fees (in IaaS/PaaS), remote support, and access to customer portals and training.
